Bad news for Tom and Jerry fans
Regarding the death of Jane Dutch, Peter Hamel, publisher of CZ, said that she died suddenly on Thursday night, while Zach did not give any details or cause of death.
In 1960, Jane Dutch's Monroe won an Oscar for Best Animated Film, while in 1964, two of her films were nominated for Oscars.
Jane Dutch directed 13 episodes of the children's favorite cartoon "Tom and Jerry" while she also directed a few episodes of the popular cartoon "Popeye the Sailor Man".The Oscar-winning Anne Matergen Dutch was also awarded The Winsor Mack Award in 2004.
